That means 100% of your ticket purchases go to enrich our programs for our students. Patrons are encouraged to attend the concert at 7:00pm and the post-concert mingle, where they can meet our instructors, students, mentors-in-training, and mentors, and learn more about our programs.

Angela Siemens: Angela Siemens acquired a BA in Music and a BMus from Augustana University College and then continued her studies at the Victoria Conservatory of Music. She also holds an ARCT Voice Teacher Diploma from the Royal Conservatory of Music. She currently teaches voice from her private studio in Red Deer. This year she has enjoyed being the vocal director for the production of Into the Woods which will be presented in March by Hunting Hills High School. She has also earned her Student Certificate in Yodelology and recently decided to learn how to play the bagpipes for her annual musical advent calendar. It was an epic fail, but lots of fun!
Sharon Braun: Sharon Braun studied and performed in Argentina where she engaged in extensive concert tours along with performances at the prestigious Teatro Colon. Her wide raging repertory ranges from Messiah to Britten’s Cabaret Songs. She debuted Cheryl Cooney’s Chansons in the world premiere performance with the Red Deer Symphony Orchestra and has since recorded the work with the Kiev Symphony Orchestra. Ms. Braun has been a member of both the Edmonton and Calgary Opera choruses as well as performed with Theatre Calgary, the Calgary Theatre Singers, and the Central Alberta Chamber Orchestra. She maintains a private voice studio and also directs the Red Deer Chamber Singers.
Dale Wheeler: After teaching piano and a variety of courses at the post-secondary level for over thirty years Dale Wheeler is now enjoying life as an independent musician. Living in Red Deer, he teaches part-time at Burman University in Lacombe and maintains a small private studio. He is an examiner, clinician, and consultant for The Royal Conservatory of Music and RCM Publishing. He holds the doctorate in piano performance and pedagogy from the University of Oklahoma. He also holds degrees and diplomas from the University of Saskatchewan and Trinity College of Music, London. Dr. Wheeler has appeared as a recitalist, accompanist, adjudicator, and lecturer from coast to coast in Canada and throughout the U.S. He has given scholarly presentations in places such as Scotland, Azerbaijan, Serbia, and Korea.
